About the Journal
The ASEAN Journal of Engineering Education (AJEE) (ISSN: 2231-9433) welcomes papers that bridge the world of theory and practice in engineering education. It considers manuscripts focusing on theory as well as those focusing on practice, assessment and innovation in engineering education.
Focus and Scope
There are two sections in the journal where the first section focuses on rigorous research on engineering education, while the second section includes papers that offer scholarly experience sharing on the practice and innovation in engineering education strategies.
Engineering Education comprises research areas of epistemology, teaching and learning, assessment, curriculum, accreditation, first-year experience, talent grooming from school level and others that can further improve engineering education to meet the challenges of the 21st century.
Peer Review Process
AJEE upholds the highest standards of academic integrity through a meticulous double-blind peer review process, ensuring the credibility and quality of the research we publish. In this rigorous system, submitted manuscripts undergo comprehensive evaluation by at least two experts in the respective field, who provide constructive feedback that will contribute to the editor’s decision on whether to accept or reject your article for publication. The peer review process is double-blind, which means that neither the author nor the reviewers know each other's identities. In this review process, both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other, eliminating bias and promoting objective assessment.
Frequency
AJEE publishes two issues every year (June and December).
